A sample Aepan/Aipan/Alpana painting. It is a popular art form of Kumaon. Walls, papers and pieces of cloth are decorated with these paintings.
The original raw material used is simple ochre (Geru) colour and rice paste. I have used a handmade sheet and acrylic colours here.
